2ND STREET — Early Tuesday, Marsha Bobobins was seen adding a decorative ghost to her Halloween-themed yard display, as neighbors swarmed around wondering if it was indeed a Hallow’s Eve ornament or a paper napkin that landed in Marsha’s yard.

“I mean, to me, it looks like napkin debris, until I saw the eyes on it and now I’m wondering if it’s a piece of trash with eyes,” said Antoinette Victoria as she took out a pair of binoculars to get a clearer view of her neighbor’s yard from her window.

“It looked like a paper napkin from a diner, but who am I to say?” said neighbor Dan Partridge who pulled up a fold-up lawn chair to watch the ghost napkin sway in the wind.

“I stopped as I was walking by to see if it had an emblem of what restaurant it could be from but I saw no evidence that it was a napkin,” said jogger Jasper Sullivan.

“I mean if you’re going to add a ghost, at least make it more like a ghost, by making it out of a… a paper towel I don’t know,” continued Antoinette as she piloted a drone over to the yard to get a detailed view of the Halloween anomaly.

“I like the paper towel ghost, or whatever it is,” continued Dan as he shuffled his chair attempting to keep eyes on the paper ghost as it whipped around in the wind.

Marsha was seen adding a “Boo!” and “Eek” sign next to the Halloween adornment hoping it would clear up any confusion.
