Beach Comber Excited About Finding "Vintage" Beer Can From 1996

The Shipyard Around 2 p.m., local man Ted Winters was seen beach combing and pulling a pilsner can from beneath a pile of seaweed next to beach bar The Rudder.

You know, I’m just starting to get a hang of this beach comby thing,” said Ted Winters as he pulled the 95-calorie pilsner can out of the sand. “This thing’s gotta be vintage, around 1996 is my guess,” continued Winters as he picked up a beer can that was definitely thrown on the beach that day.

Winter’s friends looked on from The Rudder saying “Ted went to take a walk to destress after he found out the market price for a lobster roll. It looks like he found treasure out there, I’m happy for him,” as they accepted Winters would probably not be returning to the table after he plopped down in the sand with his new “vintage” find.

“Anyone can say they found a shell at the beach, but a vintage beer can? I feel like I just won the lottery,” continued Winters as he sat proudly with his can like it was one of his own kin.

“Not for sale!” yelled Winters to an elderly couple on the beach as they strolled by accidentally locking eyes with Winters as he sat proudly with his can. “This one’s mine.”
