TRINKETS & STUF' — Saturday afternoon, local man Chester Jenkins, walked into an empty store uptown and was greeted like he was a member of royalty with store employees yelling "a customer! a customer!" as they excitedly prepared for his entry.
"I wasn't even going to come in here," said Chester as store employees moved items out of his way so he could walk around the store with ease. "What's the occasion?" continued Chester as employees rolled out a red carpet in front of him.
"We've been waiting all day for one person to come in, and if that's Chester so be it." said store owner Marjoram Ritz as she dusted every item before Chester looked at it.
Chester was seen being carried around the store on a king's throne while being fed grapes before losing his status as soon as another customer walked into the store at which point employees kicked him off his throne to welcome the new shopper.
